Red Rocks Sunrise Hike

The #1 hike on Airbnb Experiences and Google!

Beat the crowds and enjoy an early morning hike at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. Our expert guides will lead you on a beautiful, quiet, educational hike through this must-see trail in Morrison, Colorado. After the hike, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a classic hiker's brown-bag breakfast in the Red Rocks Amphitheater, where you’ll take in the magic of this world famous concert venue without the crowds.

The Experience

Meet your guide and small hiking group at the Red Rocks Trading Post. After introductions, we'll scamper down the trail and set off on a ~70 minute, 1.5-mile adventure.  Throughout the hike, we’ll encounter the smallest of elevation gains (~350 feet), meet plenty of animal friends (keep an eye out for the mule deer who are known to photo bomb!), snap stunning pictures of you, and share stories of the park's history.

You’ll learn about her prehistoric inhabitants (dinosaurs), modern development (by the Civilian Conservation Corps), and hear legendary tales of the artists who have played the amphitheater (like U2 and The Beatles) and more!

Once the hike is over, we'll give you a delicious brown-bag breakfast and coffee, then show you how to get into Red Rocks Amphitheater, where you can eat, relax and explore on your own.

Prepare to break a little sweat and make your friends jealous of your beautiful photos!

We booked this hike on our visit to Denver and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! Not only did Cody have a great attitude and sense of humor, he also shared cool history about the Red Rocks as well. Coffee and breakfast after the hike was a perfect way to get a jumpstart on your day. Definitely recommend this experience!

This was an amazing experience! Our guide Jenny was amazing. It was an absolutely perfect hike for my husband, our two small children (10 and 5) and myself. The boys really enjoyed it, and Jenny did an amazing job storytelling. The breakfast at the end of our hike was such a great plus. Our kids loved it. Thank you so much!

Such an incredible experience! We were lucky enough to be the only group on the trail. Erica was an incredible guide telling us all about the history of the area but was also super personable and funny. Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family and would love to go again. Red Rocks is such a beautiful area especially at sunrise!
